Delete your account

• Open Ready Up and sign in with your number and PIN.
• Go to Settings, then Privacy & security.
• Tap Delete my account at the bottom of the screen.
• Read the warning, tick the box confirming you have any backups you want, then tap Yes, delete my account.

Deleting wipes everything, including your Cloud Vault. Save any photos, videos, voice notes or files you care about to your phone or computer before you delete, because we cannot bring them back afterwards and neither can anyone else. Your media is end-to-end encrypted, so once your keys are destroyed the files are unreadable to us by design.

• Your account, phone number link, profile, name, about text, avatar and cover photo.
• Your encryption keys, which makes any remaining ciphertext permanently unreadable.
• Your messages, group memberships, reactions, receipts and call history.
• Your Cloud Vault files, chat backups, statuses and status view records.
• Your contacts list, invite codes, quick call favourites, themes and device links.
• Your push notification tokens, so notifications stop straight away.

• Copies of messages already delivered to other users stay on their devices, exactly like a text message you have already sent.
• Encrypted backups and server logs roll off automatically within 30 days.
• Abuse reports and records we are legally required to keep are retained in a minimal, de-identified form.
• Billing records for any paid plan are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Cancel a paid plan through your app store before deleting so it does not renew.

Email privacy@readyupmessenger.com from the address on file, or include the phone number on the account, and we will verify and delete it for you. We answer deletion requests within 30 days.
