Ready Up is a free encrypted messenger for chats, group chats and HD calls, tied to the phone number you already use. Here is exactly what it does, in plain English.
Your keys are generated on your device and locked with your PIN. Messages, photos, videos, voice notes and locations are sealed with AES-256-GCM before they leave your phone, so the servers only ever hold scrambled bytes.
Every group has one key, wrapped separately for each member using ECDH P-256. Nobody outside the member list can unwrap it, and members added later cannot read what came before.
One-to-one and group calls travel device-to-device over DTLS-SRTP on Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G or 5G. Active speakers get layout priority, and calls can be minimised while you keep chatting.
Send full-quality photos and video, animated GIFs and stickers, and record voice notes you can pause and resume before sending. Everything is encrypted the same way your text is.
Documents, spreadsheets, archives and code go through. Formats that run on a device, like installers and macro-enabled documents, are refused, because sealed files cannot be scanned by anyone, including us.
Back up your chats, photos, videos and voice notes to storage only you can open. Every account starts with free space, and larger plans are available when you outgrow it.
Sign in with the number you already use, sync the contacts you choose, and link a desktop with a one-time code. Free to use everywhere.
Any account can switch on a free company profile with a bio, logo, location, phone number and a catalogue of what you offer. Ready Business adds paid team seats with shared channels, roles and large group calls.
